CPS Superintendent Launches Fund to Support College-Bound Graduates

When it comes to college expenses, students have a lot more to think about than tuition. That’s why Cincinnati Public Schools Superintendent Laura Mitchell launched a new fund designed to ease the transition to life on a college campus.

The Superintendent’s Housing Award offers students a stipend of $600 that can be used to buy necessities for their dorm room, classroom equipment or other expenses for which scholarship funds cannot be used. The effort represents a personal commitment of Supt. Mitchell to ensure that CPS students are supported as they transition to higher education.

If you would like to make a donation to the Superintendent’s Housing Award Fund, please send a check made payable to “ABC Superintendent’s Housing Award” and mail it to:
