Dear Woodward and Woodward Career Technical High School graduates,

It is an honor to greet you as the Principal of Woodward Career Technical High School. I love and cherish the opportunity I have to work with the staff, students, parents, and the community who depend on us to provide our students with an exceptional 21st century career technical education. It is my mission to provide our students with a path to enter post secondary education or to have skills needed to enter the job market.

In order to do this work, I need you to consider providing financial support for our children. Let me remind you of some of the unique programs at our school. Our Health Technologies Academy prepares students for careers in health care, the 3rd largest employer. Students are introduced to the field of Biotechnology, laboratory science, radiology and medical assisting.

Students in our Advanced Technologies Academy are interested in Pre-Engineering and/or Advanced Manufacturing. In class, they are provided with hands on opportunities to be educated in planning, setting up, controlling and managing automated computer controlled equipment.

If you are interested in construction Management and Construction Technology, you will enjoy the work of the students in our Building Technologies Academy. The instructors in the Academy have an expertise in carpentry, electrical, landscaping, and plumbing and construction management.

In addition to our state of the art academics, there are additional areas in need of your financial support. They include: athletics and extra curriculars Intersession, technology, the Community Learning Center, Positive School Culture incentives, parent programming and 8th grade recruitment.
